By Rail to Belgaum:
Belgaum has a Railway Junction with great connectivity of Belgaum to Bangalore, Goa, Pune, Mumbai, and Delhi at regular intervals. There are 8 Express trains out of those 2 runs on a daily basis to Bangalore from Belgaum. In addition, it has one train running daily for Delhi while two trains to Goa and Pune each. One Express train on daily basis runs from Bhadrachalam in Telangana to Belgaum and back. By Air to Belgaum:

Belgaum Fort is in the city itself while kittur Fort is at a drive of one hour from the city. Kalanadhigad Fort in Chandgad, Maharashtra is another good fort to visit which is one of the 111 forts established by Shivaji Maharaj at an altitude of 1100 feet.
